I'm extremely curious about this, and would really like to break down what makes the game so ominous for most players! When I first played FIN, it was the deserted feel to the theater and the sinister music that got me scared. Was it a particular scene? The music? The atmosphere? For example, I found CRY scary because of the lighting and scene designs, the music, and the cryptic answers some characters would give you. I want to talk about why people found this one scary, so I was wondering if any of you would be willing to break it down for me? There were a couple good jumpscares, but I never had that creeping feeling of horror like I get with some of the other games (CRY, for example).
I'd heard a lot about how terrifying it was, and how many people found it the scariest game in the franchise, but I was sadly underwhelmed. Hi all! I have a blog where I review Nancy Drew games and I just finished SHA.
